Wie man das Finanzsystem fairer und stabiler machen kann

Das Social Sciences Research Network (SSRN) hat mich netter Weise darüber informiert, dass das Paper How to Improve the Financial Architecture and Its Resilience in die Top Ten der meistheruntergeladenen Paper aus dem Themengebiet Global/International Economic Institutions aufgestiegen ist. Einer der zwölf Beiträge darin ist von mir.

Es handelt sich bei dem Werk um das Ergebnis einer Befragung des Weltwirtschaftsforums (Davos) an Wirtschafts- und Finanzexperten (keine Ahnung, was mir die Ehre verschaffte) zu Vorschlägen, wie man die internationale Finanzarchitektur besser und stabiler machen kann.

Neben meinem eigenen Vorschlag (8), zu dem ich noch voll stehe, finde ich zusätzlich Vorschläge 2,3 und 4 sehr bedenkenswert.

1) Impact-adjusted mark-to-market accounting

2) Limiting lending to income flows rather than asset appreciation

3) Align bank remuneration with the interest of wider society, rather than with bank shareholders

4) Recognize the law-finance-paradox and its implications for financial Regulation  

5) Mandatory Contingent Convertible Bonds

6) Electronic certificates will reform financial architecture

7) A safe trading network that makes a safety net

8) Put the supply of money back in public hands

9) Random trading to reduce financial bubbles and systemic risks

10) Indexes of Asset Price Inflation

11) Global information system for the economy and financial markets to reduce uncertainty

12) Qualified money: Money as a multi-dimensional reputation system
